Under certain circumstances, expired HTTPS connection requests were decreasing a unit’s network and

CPU performance because invalid connections would erroneously not be terminated. This issue was

fixed.

A database issue concerning user group authentication was in rare cases causing the HTTP Proxy

Service to freeze. This issue was fixed.

HTTP Proxy

In firmware version 5.2.3, configuring multiple neighbor settings in the HTTP Proxy Service caused routing

to invalid parent proxies. This issue was fixed.

HTTP Proxy

In rare cases, the access log file was not written accurately so that no log entries were available in

Barracuda NG Admin. This issue was fixed.

A variety of non-critical WiFi related issues was fixed. This included limiting the SSID length to 32

characters, ensuring the proper control state after network activation and ensure accurate configuration

reloads.

ART generated error messages during network activation on XEN hosts. This issue was fixed.

Balance XOR bonding using a Layer2+3 hashing policy did not work as intended. Only layer 2 was used.

The ktinactrl wanopt stats CLI command erroneously displayed accurate statistics only on the

unit that initiated the VPN connection, although its output should be identical on both sides of the tunnel.

This issue was fixed.

VPN Service

An issue with rekeying was leading to decreasing traffic throughput between client and server every few

minutes, resulting in slower VPN connections. This issue was fixed.

VPN Service

Configuring two DNS servers in the Group Policy Settings did not work as intended. This issue was fixed.

VPN Service

The Transparent Agent was not able to correctly handle a mix of user / password authentication and

X.509 authentication. This issue was fixed.
